My dad died last week. Before his death, he was able to say he lived a full life and achieved all of his childhood dreams. He served his country, owned his own business, traveled the world, earned his pilot’s license, and cruised the Intracoastal Waterway. He was proud of his children and grandchildren who, in various degrees, share his enjoyment of travel and the great outdoors, his entrepreneurial spirit, and his love of history. His passing reminds us to focus on those things that are truly important and of lasting, eternal consequence.
Focus on what really matters
